Work includes furnishing all plant, labor, materials, supervision, and equipment; and performing all work for the Expansion of the Arms Room at Washington Hall. This work included Selective Demolition, New Security & Fire Alarm Systems, Specialty Door Hardware, Painting, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection works.

This project was completed three months ahead of schedule! The government presented Collette Contracting Inc. with a sword from the USMA in appreciation of their efforts & a Job Well Done!

There was no accident or loss time since the project commencement.

Mechanical Work Included:

• Removal of Arms Room exhaust fan and associated ductwork
• Removal of Arms existing fan coil unit and associated branch piping
• New Arms Room exhaust fan and associated ductwork, controls, etc.
• New make-up air unit with heating and cooling capabilities.
• Removal of existing HRU unit and ductwork and installation of new split-unit A/C system and piping at the North Pantry roof.

Electrical Work:

• Selective removal of inoperative electrical system, wiring, conduits, devices and related components
• Removal of existing lighting fixtures
• Selective removal of existing security system
• New electrical panels
• New power wiring and conduit for receptacles, lights, security devices, etc.
• Power for new mechanical equipment
• New lighting fixtures including all new branch wiring, conduit, switches, etc.
• New fire alarm system and devices including all wiring, conduit, etc.
• New security devices including all wiring, conduit, etc.

Fire Protection Work:

• Removal of existing sprinklers and piping in the existing and proposed Arms Room
• Installation of new wet pipe sprinkler system designed for ordinary hazard
• Installation of new butterfly valve, tamper switch, flow switch and drain/test valve for new sprinkler system
